We were honoured to welcome Deputy Lieutenant Stephen Howlett and his wife Jane to Mossbourne Community Academy on 29 June. Stephen was appointed Representative Deputy Lieutenant of Hackney by the Lord-Lieutenant last year.
After touring the school, Mr and Mrs Howlett met with a group of the Year 10 students to learn more about their participation in the Rowing Academy programme and to congratulate them on their successful racing season.
“I look forward to future visits to Mossbourne Federation academies,” said the Deputy Lieutenant. “It was a real pleasure to visit MCA today. It is a really impressive school.”
