On Tuesday, 11th July, Year 11 students celebrated in glittering style at the 2022/23 Year 11 Ball which took place at The London Stadium in the Queen Elizabeth Park. It was an incredible night which saw the pupils celebrate the passing of their examination labours and months of hard work. Revellers enjoyed a solo performance from Renee Itela, a three course meal and the announcement of the honours awards. Congratulations to the winners for 2022/2023: Robert Walker Prize for Academic Excellence: Mollie Coode, Academic Excellence Progress Reward: Catalina Circu, Sports Personality of the Year: Thomas Bradbury, Mossician of the Year: Daniel Ojo. Following a wonderful speech from Head of Year 11 Mrs J Smallwood – much of which hugely entertained pupils but was lost on staff – the celebrations started, in earnest, on the dancefloor. Congratulations to the class of 2023 and roll on the celebrations in August when your commitment to academic excellence will be truly vindicated with incredible results.
