GCSE Results 2024

Huge congratulations to the Mossbourne Community Academy class of 2024 for achieving exceptional GCSE results. Year on year, MCA pupils prove that dedication, hard work and ambition ensure brilliant futures.

The Year 11 class of 2024 celebrated top results across the board, with 17% of all grades awarded being a grade 9; 51% of all grades were 7+ and 81% of all grades were 5+. An impressive 71% of students gained a GCSE pass of grade 5 or above in both English and Maths and 85% of students gained a GCSE pass of grade 4 or above in both English and Maths. A total of 9 exceptional students have an average point score of grade 9 which means they scored grades 9 in at least 10 subjects.

• 50% or more students entered achieved 7+ in the following subjects: English literature, Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, French, Turkish, Religious Studies, History, Geography, Art, Sociology and Physical Education.
• At least 1 grade 9: 97 students (50% of the cohort)
• A8 of 8.00 or better: 53 students (26% of the cohort)
• A8 of 7.00 or better 94 students (46% of the cohort)
