While we may not be in school, this hasn’t stopped MCA students from exercising their considerable creative talents in some fantastic responses to the competitions set for Art and Technology Enrichment Week 2021. Ms Pyzlak set a Bake Off challenge and a Focaccia challenge and it is fair to say everyone was blown away by the entries! Congratulations to the winners! Mr Conlon launched the 1,000 origami cranes for Mossbourne challenge, Ms Field set Y8 a Bee Sculpture design competition and an illustration challenge and Ms Lennox set the task to create Quilt squares, there are some very impressive entries to these collaborative and community-orientated challenges! Well done!

COVID-19 may have stolen our Y11 GCSE 2020 graduating classes of their opportunity either for a final exam or for an official show of their art work, but with the aid of technology and the skills of our Art and Textiles Technician Mark Green, the show will go on! – online!
